I definitely wasn't an original follower but fell in love with all of your movies and checked your website daily for updates. The Rise of The Mushroom Kingdom set a new standard for sprite movies and is easily the best sprite animation out there, surpassed only by its sequels. ROTMK blew me away with how much love and effort someone could put into an animation.
After the release of ROTMK4 things seemed to slow down on your website but I remained and avid fan and checked for updates over the years and even the forums. I was grieved with bad news when I resorted to googling if you were even alive... what became a thought that was simply a joke was true, that one of my child hood entertainers had passed away, I nearly began crying and couldn't stop a few tears from leaving my eyes.

I remember when I first discovered him; it all started when a friend told me about Free Online Games. FOG brought me to VGDC, VGDC brought me to Razoric, and Razoric brought me here. Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom was my first flash video and still one of the best. I thought it was disappointing that he hadn't done anything in a while, now I'm more disappointed that he'll never do anything again. R.I.P.
I miss playing GTA online with you bud, you were one of my only real close online friends who I never had a chance to meet in real life. You live on in our memories and through the art you created over the years. Peace out Bro!

Randy, for many years I have returned to Newgrounds to view the magic you created with your imagination and humour. I came back today eagerly to look you up for any updates and found out about your passing. My condolences to your friends and family. I remember sharing your flash movies with so many friends over the years, each one loving hits such as ROTMK more than the last, you gave us so much laughter and joy, and I can only imagine you did the same with your own friends and family a hundred-fold.
Suffering loss is never easy, and my thoughts stretch out to your friends and family. I wish for them to know that he has touched the lives of many people with his talent and humor and will not be forgotten, even by complete strangers such as myself. He has influenced the lives and inspired many artists, and his inspiration and work will live on. Not a year goes by that I do not re-view his work with a smile.
You were greatly admired Randy, personally my favourite flash animator...you will be missed. God bless. I am greatly saddened by the news of your passing, may your family find strength in the echoes you've left behind, listening to them with a smile on their lips and a happy thought in their mind.

WHAAATTT??? The genius behind Rise Of The Mushroom Kingdom has passed away??? I am in shock! I haven't been on NG in several months, and I only just learned of his passing today. He will be SORELY missed, and my condolences go out to his family. RIP Randy... :-(
