Will be uploading some VGDC Parodies to YouTube, starting off with Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom. The YouTube version of Part 1 is actually both Part 1 and 2 combined, making a longer, more cinematic experience. Watching it on full screen is pretty awesome too.

Rest in peace, amigo. My deepest sympathies to friends and family of this man. I actually saw Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom on this website some time ago, which is one of the reasons I signed up. Never would I have thought I would have to hear that the unfortunate happened.

Words cannot describe how much you will be missed. I always hoped that you would make a comeback. I guess that's not happening, but maybe that's for the best. You left us to make something of yourself and started a family. You were a good man. Rest in Peace.

Tyler, Reese actually passed away not too long ago :\ Randy was the man, I remember he always had the funniest schemes at weddings when he'd catch the garter and him sneaking me my first drinks when I was younger :( Definitely would've been a classic older brother type that everyone wanted.

Oddly enough, the main picture on his website is Peach and Luigi standing next to a coffin.

My cousin and 'uncle' Randy Solem, the owner and creator of VideoGameDC and Rise Of The Mushroom Kingdom series has passed away last night. Randy leaves behind his girlfriend Danielle and their 18 month old daughter Rielle. Many people actively donate to the site or his newgrounds links.
